INTRIA Items Inc. Achieves Forest Stewardship Council Certification

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

MISSISSAUGA, ON, March 2, 2009, INTRIA Items Inc. (INTRIA) announced that the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) has certified that INTRIA has met the requirements for its chain of custody (CoC) standard. This certification assures INTRIA's print and mail clients and their customers that CoC procedures exist to document FSC-certified paper products as they pass through the supply chain from the forest to their doorstep, including transformation, printing, insertion, and distribution processes. This standard guarantees customers, shareholders, and the public that all forest operations under the FSC's direct and indirect care are well managed and sustainable.

CoC certification will allow INTRIA clients to feature the FSC logo on their paper-based communications, demonstrating their commitment to the environment and giving them credibility with customers and business partners as well as environmental organizations. By leveraging the relationship with stationery vendors, INTRIA can provide clients with guidance on procuring FSC CoC certified products, while helping them understand FSC certified paper options, define FSC specifications, and define size and placement of FSC logos.

"Our recent FSC certification shows we are taking steps as a corporation to reduce our environmental impact," says Bob Bouey, President, INTRIA. "This certification illustrates our commitment to the environment and sound forestry practices. The certification is gaining popularity, not only in North America, but around the world. It is an important way for our clients to demonstrate corporate responsibility to their customers and the public at large."

About Forest Stewardship Council
Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international, non-governmental, membership-based, non-profit organization that was established to promote responsible management of the world's forests. FSC certification is the only forest product certification standard accepted and endorsed by environmental and conservation organizations including the Rainforest Alliance, the World Wildlife Fund, and ForestEthics.

The FSC logo is the link between the responsible production and consumption of paper goods. FSC has developed tools that help FSC-certified companies avoid wood produced in socially and environmentally damaging ways. It specifically helps manufacturers and traders choose wood that has not been harvested: illegally, in violation of traditional and civil rights, in forests that have been identified to be of particular biological and/or cultural value, from conversion of natural forest (or other natural habitat), or from genetically modified trees.

CoC certification provides information about where the wood or other forest-based material used in a product comes from. The origin of all raw materials used in FSC-certified products must be identified to keep FSC-certified products separate from other products throughout the production process and to allow tracking from one operation to the next. Only operations covered by a CoC certificate are allowed to label products with FSC trademarks.

FSC maintains representation in more than 45 countries. For more information, please visit: www.fsc.org.
